RNs and LPNs:
Seeking experienced long term care nurses, currently licensed in Florida, to work in our fast-paced and demanding skilled nursing unit. Proficiency in computers is required, as successful candidates must be willing and able to learn electronic medical records process. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills are required. Hiring experienced long-term care CNAs to provide care for our members under the supervision of the RN/LPN in the skilled nursing unit. Computer skills, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills are required. Oak Hammock has low member to staff ratios; staff are able to provide more individualized attention to the members.
Registered Dietician (RD):
This position must provide overall management for the Dietary Department in the Health Center, including Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Support. The RD will direct and assist the preparation and serving of regular meals and therapeutic diets, order food and supplies and maintain area and equipment in sanitary condition, supervise departmental staff, and assure the smooth operation with other departments. Current RD License in good standing and a minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience in institutional food service required. Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, POS and Databases. Advanced knowledge of dietetic principles, food sanitation, and food service operation. Must possess excellent time management, organizational, communication and customer service skills. Able to work well within an interdisciplinary team and work autonomously.
Wednesday, 9-9 and Thursday, 9-10
Oak Hammock is seeking an experienced, motivated chef to work in our back of the house operations under a trained culinary Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director. Previous experience working in a fast- paced country club, fine dining or country club establishment. Three years experience required; formalized training at an accredited culinary school strongly preferred. Must be a team player; flexible and able to work with complete autonomy and open to new ideas and approaches to food preparation.
Cooks - Health Pavilion:
Prepares and serves foods for members in the Skilled Nursing and/or Assisted Living facility under the direction of the Registered Dietician. Follows food handling, safety and sanitation policy and procedures. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year related experience and/or training in healthcare setting. Experience preparing therapeutic diets and able to read and understand recipes.
Wait-Staff (Full-time & Part-time):
Hiring wait staff professionals committed to providing our members with an excellent dining experience. Previous wait staff experience preferred, not required! We are willing to train the right candidate to join our team; strong customer service skills a must. Able to work flexible hours (including weekends/holidays). Shifts are split 10:45 am - 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm. No late nights!
Compensation is based on years of experience and we offer a competitive benefits package.
