Sales and Marketing Associate - FT
Oak Hammock is an upscale retirement community seeking an experienced professional to join our Sales and Marketing team. Must have 3-5 years with high end intangible sales and long sales cycles in CCRCs, financial planning, fundraising in a not-for-profit or real estate (no license required). Must be familiar with computer database lead tracking systems. Emphasis on relationship building and extraordinary customer service skills. Must be a goal oriented self starter with superior communication skills and works well within a sales team. Bachelor’s Degree required.
Certified Dietary Mgr (CDM) - FT
Oak Hammock has an exciting opportunity available in our expanding 5–star rated Health Pavilion!
This position must provide management for the Dietary Department, ensuring quality food. The Dietary Manager will direct and assist the preparation and serving of regular meals and therapeutic diets, order food and supplies and maintain area and equipment in sanitary condition, and assure the smooth operation with other departments. Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience in institutional food ser¬vice required. Graduate of an approved dietary manager’s course that meets the state and federal care regulations Certified through the Dietary Manager Association. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, POS and Databases. Advanced knowledge of dietetic principles, food sanitation, and food service operation. Must possess excellent time management, organizational and customer service skills. Able to work well within an interdisciplinary team and work autonomously.
Dining Services Department
Wait Staff - FT
Hiring wait staff professionals committed to providing our members with an excellent dining experience. Previous wait staff experience preferred, not required! We are willing to train the right candidate to join our team; strong customer service skills a must.Able to work flexible hours (including weekends/holidays). We really need individuals who can work Tuesdays and Thursdays. Shifts are split 10:45 am - 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm. No late nights!
Dishwasher – FT
Responsible for washing and sanitizing all pots, pans utensils, cutlery items and equipment. Performs all cleaning and sanitation duties in the kitchen area, food preparation areas, walk-ins, and employee break room, and other areas as assigned. Completion of the 8th grade desirable. Experience desirable but not necessary. Able to communicate effectively. Requires the ability to understand oral and written instruction. Ability to read and understand chemical and cleaning product labels.
Security – FT (12 am – 8 am)
Responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit on the campus, emergency call system, fire and smoke alarms and video cameras. Patrols buildings and grounds on foot and by vehicle to ensure campus-wide safety and security. High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience as a firefighter, police officer, or security officer is preferred. Valid Fla Driver’s License and be able to operate a Golf Cart. Requires a basic knowledge of and ability to use a computer.
Environmental Services Department
Housekeeper - FT
Seeking experienced Housekeeper to join our team. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeper is primarily responsible for the daily cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned common areas, hallways, member unites, restrooms, dining rooms, offices, and furniture in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.
Groundskeeper - FT
Waters plants, cuts weeds, transplants, fertilizes and trims vegetation as necessary. Operates and repairs equipment used on maintenance of grounds. Six months -- 1 year of experience as a laborer, farmer, gardener, florist helper, groundskeeper, or similar work involving general laborer duties which may include the planting and maintenance of vegetation, landscaping duties, nursery inspections, or pesticide applications.
Health Services Department
RNs and LPNs
Seeking experienced long term care nurses, currently licensed in Florida, to work in our fast-paced and demanding skilled nursing unit. Proficiency in computers is required, as successful candidates must be willing and able to learn electronic medical records process. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills are required. Hiring experienced long-term care CNAs to provide care for our members under the supervision of the RN/LPN in the skilled nursing unit. Computer skills, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills are required. Oak Hammock has low member to staff ratios; staff are able to provide more individualized attention to the members.
RN Weekend Supervisor
Oversees and provides quality member care, accountability, safety of members and staff; supervises weekend nursing staff (RNs, LPNs and CNA's for the SNF and AL). While on duty communicates with member’s families and Attending Physicians; after weekend rotation report to DON regarding concerns, incidents and member care of plan.
