Oak Hammock’s affiliation with the University
of Florida truly sets it apart.
Although Oak Hammock is not formally a part of UF, it is affiliated
with the University and Shands Hospital through a series of
agreements. Oak Hammock bears the name of the University of
Florida, assuring the University’s vital interest in
the success and quality of the community.
Community members will have campus privileges similar to those
of UF faculty — with access to sports, performing arts
events, libraries, research facilities, museums and most classes
taught at the University.
