At Oak Hammock, we are committed to providing exceptional care for all residents living in all areas here on our campus. Our pleasure is to provide services and amenities for our residents as they age in place here with us. Furthermore, we are dedicated to providing a safe and rewarding work environment for our employees. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we aimed to preserve the well-being of everyone here at Oak Hammock. That’s why we have been conservatively following the infection control protocols set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, or CDC, and state and local governments.
To date, one of the tactics we have used to battle the coronavirus has been aggressive testing of staff throughout our campus. Based on guidelines from the Florida Department of Health and the CDC, we have shifted our approach to include testing and vaccination. We have already vaccinated nearly 100% of residents and staff members, with several taking the third booster shot. Being vaccinated is a requirement of employment at Oak Hammock.
