The Dog Park at Oak Hammock is in a wooded area beyond the Health Pavilion and near Oak Hammock’s back gate. This fenced, one-half acre space with three double-gate entrances allows dogs to safely run off-leash. It is a well-equipped and a favorite gathering spot for dog owners and their pets. The Dog Park has water, green waste cans, chairs, a small refrigerator, and a gazebo with fans and electricity.
Dogs of many sizes and their owners can be found at the Dog Park beginning about 2:30-3:00 PM daily or 9:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Dog Park is reserved daily from 4:00-5:00 PM for small dogs and is open from sunrise to sunset.
Dog owners are responsible for collecting their dog’s waste in the Dog Park and throughout the campus, then disposing of it in the appropriate green containers.
