Welcome to the Newly Updated Fitness Center

Our team includes highly credentialed professionals, many of whom hold advanced degrees in wellness and fitness or are actively pursuing further certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine – recognized as the gold standard in the field.

Oak Hammock residents have 24/7 access to an extensive Fitness and Wellness Center that was renovated and refurbished in 2025. The Center includes two indoor pools (exercise and lap) and a hot tub, an exercise room with state-of-the-art machines and a well-equipped room for exercise classes conducted by experienced and well-trained staff.

The 2025 renovations included ten new air-propelled HUR exercise machines. Developed by Helsinki University Research and manufactured in Finland, these machines are specifically designed for seniors, supporting strength, cardio and balance training. Each user controls resistance with a personalized magnetic wristband, allowing for a safe and customized workout. The user’s wristband automatically loads personalized training information and adjusts settings on each machine. The system also records and tracks each resident’s activity and progress. The machine room also includes various cardio machines and free weights.

We are proud to offer a wide range of current and upcoming classes designed to support the health and well-being of our senior living community. These programs are tailored to address a variety of age-related conditions and promote overall wellness including:
