About the Game

Bridge is more than just a card game — it’s one of many fun activities and an opportunity to sharpen memory, enhance concentration, strengthen logical thinking and judgment skills. It also provides wonderful opportunities for social interaction and friendship.

At Oak Hammock, many residents enjoy bridge throughout the week, playing both social and duplicate games. Duplicate bridge is a more structured and competitive format, and our Thursday night sessions attract both experienced and newer players from the community.

Visitors are always welcome. Stop by to observe or bring a partner and join the fun! Many players use the 2-over-1 convention system, while others play Standard American Bridge. Whatever your preferred conventions, you’ll find a friendly, supportive atmosphere filled with laughter, camaraderie and plenty of enjoyable moments.

Giving Back

Since 2013, ACBL has partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association through its annual fundraiser, The Longest Day, helping raise more than $10 million worldwide in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. The Oak Hammock Duplicate Bridge Club is proud to serve as a local host for this meaningful event.
