Club Activities: Meetings, Engagement and Connection
The Gainesville Bonsai Society gathers regularly at Oak Hammock with the Bonsai Club of Oak Hammock for engaging programs, open discussions and hands on work on their bonsai making it easy for prospective residents and visitors to connect with their neighbors and nurture new interests. Each month the Bonsai Club meets to share experiences on care and nourishment of their bonsai. An advanced Bonsai Master suggests styling, repotting and horticultural tips.
The club meets on the first and third Saturday of each month, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Multipurpose Room, or MPR, welcoming all who are interested in learning more about bonsai or simply enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts — no prior experience is required. For more information, contact David Brumbaugh at dlbrum72@gmail.com or Nelson Logan at nelson.logan@icloud.com.
