Living
Security and wellbeing is paramount at Oak Hammock. Our gated community is enhanced by 24/7 on-site security personnel and a 24-hour emergency response system. Concierge services are available for various recommendations, as well as to provide answers or solutions to anything you may need. Utilities such as gas, water, electricity and waste are included. Also included is basic extended cable, weekly housekeeping and WiFi in each residence and common area. Maintenance, landscaping and trash removal services are provided.
Each resident or couple is issued a flexible dining account that can be used in a variety of venues for daily meals; takeout, delivery and catering options are available.
Perhaps most importantly, residents are guaranteed high-quality, long-term care in private accommodations in assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.
Learning
Residents are provided with extensive opportunities to learn through events, activities and classes held on campus and at the University of Florida. Annual dues for the Institute for Learning in Retirement are included, as well as memberships and fees for a number of educational and social programs. Residents also have access to our extensive on-site library, plus access to the multiple libraries and media centers at UF.
Scheduled transportation to the University of Florida, medical facilities, shopping, banking and many special events is provided multiple times per day. Residents also have the option to schedule personal transportation.
Additional Services
Apartment residents with a vehicle are assigned one under-building parking spot. Each villa or club home comes with a two-car garage. Each apartment home comes with its own individual, climate-controlled storage cage. Property taxes are included in your monthly fee.
